BLACKBERY ORANGE HOLIDAY SPRITZ

INGREDIENTS:
4-5 Blackberries
1/2 Orange
2 oz Vodka or Gin (your preference)
.75 Rosemary Simple Syrup (see below for recipe)
Prosecco
Rosemary Fig
Orange Slice
DIRECTIONS:
Add your 4-5 blackberries to a shaker. Squeeze in your half an orange. (it’s best to slice this up in smaller pieces if you plan to drop in the shaker and muddle as well). Add in your vodka or gin and muddle your fruit and vodka all together. Add in your rosemary syrup plus ice cubes and then shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Grab a snifter glass or cocktail glass and fill to the top with ice. Strain your cocktail mixture over the top and then add in your prosecco the rest of the way! Garnish with a Rosemary Fig and Orange Slice.
ROSEMARY SIMPLE SYRUP:
Add 2 cups of water, 2 cups of granulated sugar and about 5-6 large rosemary figs to a pot and bring to a boil. Let the contents boil for about 5 minutes. Take off the heat and let the syrup cool down. Once cooled a bit, grab a glass container and a strainer. Pour all contents from the pot into the strainer and allow the liquid to strain out into your Glass Container. Put your top on and store in the refrigerator. Syrup will stay fresh for about 10 days.
